Squidlite™ got its roots going back over 25 years ago when Jim Kraft invented the original squid cabling system and THE SQUIDCIL®, way back before being a squid was cool!

 

Back then Jim invented one of the world’s first segmented high performance data cabling systems but something was missing. It worked great except it was hard to manage. You see, segmented cabling was made to move and to be flexible, but when you moved it, you couldn’t find it.

After awhile, Jim had a genius idea. He put an identification light on the system and oh my how things have changed. That little flashing light allowed us to build mobile systems, make modular furniture modular again, and drastically reduce the cost of wiring up your office.

We here at Squidlite™ realized that our products and our company were not like any other traditional data cabling products company. Squidlite™ is imaginative, innovative, and tenacious, using fun to drive home our message. Tricky thing is, if you have fun you better be good at what you do we do, and what we do is create products that are easy to use, easy to understand and drive down the cost of change for IT.
